we champion children by connecting schools to their communities
About Us
From Our Founders
“I think a founder’s heart is when you really understand that there is genius, and passion, and love in other people. I get the chance, as the founder of School Connect, to unleash that beauty in other people. I get to believe in them, maybe even more than they believe in themselves. I get to introduce them to each other. I get to create that clear and simple pathway for them to be able to walk down together and transform a child’s life, a school’s life, and even a community’s life. There’s no greater feeling than believing in other people and getting to see them succeed.”
Why It Takes A Village
The resources and support kids need are all around them, but often parents, principals, and local leaders are disconnected and have no idea what their community can offer. School Connect helps leaders like YOU to build a village of support for the children in your community! We connect, train, and coach you to build strong, strategic partnerships that support local schools. Together, we can change the outcomes for children – because it truly takes a village to help EVERY CHILD reach their potential!

What is the impact of community engagement?
We are so glad you asked! School Connect helps people build strategic partnerships to directly impact outcomes at local schools. We measure progress in School Case Studies which show how outcomes for children can change over time, as the community pools their network of resources to target areas of greatest need. Together, we can build the world our children deserve.

In the work we do with educators and the community partners who rally around them, we get to witness the beautiful, often quiet work of everyday leaders who show up every single day to build Arizona`s future.
It`s work taken on by the kind of leaders who don`t ask for accolades or applause—they just enjoy knowing that what they do helps kids reach their dreams.
In these stories, we`re reminded that the best outcomes for kids happen when a village shows up...
💛 a teacher says, "I believe in you"
💛 a superintendent clears the path
💛 a principal rallies people together
💛 a student steps up to help their peers
💛 a community partner picks up the phone to say, "how can I help?"
Every role matters.
We know you`ve witnessed stories like this, too...
That`s why we want to hear from you!

The Washington Elementary School District CAFE was a packed house!
This CAFE celebrated partnership in pursuit of impact. As table discussions commenced, the energy in the room was palpable; leaders came ready to take action, listening intently for goals, planning support for testing, teacher appreciation, and even Love Our Schools Day next fall - a favorite of district principals.
In the words of Principal Pallagi,
“The impact is not just in what they build or give, but how they make students feel. Our students see adults who choose them, choose their school, invest in their future, and it tells the students that you matter.”
#ItTakesAVillage
Last month, four districts gathered together for a CAFE gathering, where students held the leadership spotlight, reminding us of the powerful impact we have when we come together to empower kids to dream and accomplish those dreams.
One of the highlights was hearing Andrew Brown read his poem:
”You can’t level up in a room that’s comfortable in staying the same. If your friends laugh at your goals, you’ll shrink yours. If they push you higher, you’ll surprise yourself. You are only as steady as the people holding your ladder.”
Andrew concluded, “You guys are the ones holding our ladder.”
