Parent Connect is a program hosted at your local school (often in the school library) and run by a staff member and a community partner or school champion. To join Parent Connect, simply complete the form above to find a location near you, or consider starting your own Parent Connect to support and engage parents at your school!
As School Connect builds the program library of resources, Parent Connect may become virtually available as well.
Topics are chosen by parents at the beginning of the school year, but might include:
• Developing Your Family’s 3 Core Values
• Protecting Your Kids as They Use Social Media
• Helping Your Kids Choose Good Friends
• Drug Proofing Your Kids
• Less Yelling, More Talking
• Navigating Stress and Anxiety
• Talking With Teams About Tough Topics
Topics Experts are chosen based on the discussion topics parents choose at the beginning of the school year, and might include a child psychologist, a first responder, a school principal, a university professor, or a chaplain.
Sponsorships might include building the Parent Connect program library – our collection of virtual interviews between a Program Host and Topic Expert on the most requested topics. Other sponsorships could help support the program at a specific school or in a specific district. Complete the form above for more information.

The Parents’ Perspective
“I know that I’m going to leave more encouraged and strengthened than when I came. Everyone is super warm and welcoming. Everyone is going through the same things that you are.”
“Being with other like-minded people. Knowing that we are all in this together. We share our failures. We share our triumphs. You need this. I needed it! Try it!”
A Principal’s View
Why Principal Kristi Hammer of Cactus High School was one of the first schools to host Parent Connect. Principal Hammer wanted an opportunity for parents to come together and learn parenting together. She reminds us that we are here to win the hearts and minds of our kids. How do you love a school?
Love Our Schools Day is one special way we can offer that encouragement and support. It’s a state‑wide, project‑based volunteer day where communities roll up their sleeves at local schools to make a tangible difference where it’s needed most — whether that’s planting a garden, painting a classroom, updating a lounge, or fixing up a playground.
And underneath the paint and landscaping, what we’re really saying to educators and students is....
✨ “We see you. We’re grateful. Let’s love this school, together." ✨
It doesn`t matter if you`ve never done anything like this before. Whether you`re an educator, represent a business, a faith community, a nonprofit, or just someone who loves your local school and wants to give back, there is a place for you!

Sufficient resources can solve many problems, but what do we do when those resources are unpredictable?
It often feels like the only thing we can control is what to cut and what to keep. What a daunting task when you want to offer the best for your students.
But what might happen if we were to take a step back and instead of asking, "How am I going to do this?" we asked...
"Who is in my corner?"
Sometimes the answer to our biggest challenge doesn`t require more money or a new program. Sometimes, it’s as simple as making the right connection — someone who brings a fresh perspective, new resources, and a willingness to collaborate.
Partnerships are a game-changer for schools and industry leaders. In fact...
Research shows that schools with strong, long-term partnerships with their communities see higher student achievement and experience lower teacher turnover.
School Connect exists to spark these connections, which in turn build partnerships.
We`ve seen it work firsthand.
When educators and industry leaders work together, learning becomes more relevant, and students are better prepared for real careers. And employers? They get a stronger, more skilled workforce (and the satisfaction of giving back to their community!). It`s a win-win-win!
In partnership with Grand Canyon University and CHASSE Building Team, we`re bringing educators and industry leaders together to connect, listen, and build relationships that make a difference for kids.
Will you join us?

May our legacy be one of generosity and care for one another.
Happy 4th! 🇺🇸
When resources run short, relationships become the most powerful thing we have.
We`ve sat at many tables with educators, where the biggest topic of conversation is how they`ll navigate the latest budget cuts.
Underneath, there`s a sense that no matter how hard they work or how much they care, the gap between students` needs and what they have to give just keeps growing.
We`ve also been on the other side of this conversation, where business leaders who genuinely care about Arizona education want to make a difference, but just don`t know how to get plugged in.
They want to invest their time and skills into local schools. They want to be part of the solution. But they don`t know what schools actually need, or whether their involvement would make any real difference.
You know what they both have in common?
They care deeply for kids and their futures.
Which begs the question...What if the gap between education and industry isn`t a resource problem — it`s a relationship problem?
This is why School Connect exists.
We`re here to help bridge the gap and spark new relationships between schools and their surrounding communities. In addition to CAFEs, the Classroom to Career Workshop on September 9th is a great place to connect with local leaders focused on building career pathways for students.
