Classroom to Career Workshop
You’re invited to the Classroom to Career Workshop on September 9th!
Join education and industry leaders for an experience where partnerships form, ideas flow, businesses tap into future growth and students are connected from the classroom to cutting edge career pathways!
Sufficient resources can solve many problems, but what do we do when those resources are unpredictable?
It often feels like the only thing we can control is what to cut and what to keep. What a daunting task when you want to offer the best for your students.
But what might happen if we were to take a step back and instead of asking, "How am I going to do this?" we asked...
"Who is in my corner?"
Sometimes the answer to our biggest challenge doesn`t require more money or a new program. Sometimes, it’s as simple as making the right connection — someone who brings a fresh perspective, new resources, and a willingness to collaborate.
Partnerships are a game-changer for schools and industry leaders. In fact...
Research shows that schools with strong, long-term partnerships with their communities see higher student achievement and experience lower teacher turnover.
School Connect exists to spark these connections, which in turn build partnerships.
We`ve seen it work firsthand.
When educators and industry leaders work together, learning becomes more relevant, and students are better prepared for real careers. And employers? They get a stronger, more skilled workforce (and the satisfaction of giving back to their community!). It`s a win-win-win!
In partnership with Grand Canyon University and CHASSE Building Team, we`re bringing educators and industry leaders together to connect, listen, and build relationships that make a difference for kids.
Will you join us?
When: September 9th - 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Happy 4th! 🇺🇸
When resources run short, relationships become the most powerful thing we have.
We`ve sat at many tables with educators, where the biggest topic of conversation is how they`ll navigate the latest budget cuts.
Underneath, there`s a sense that no matter how hard they work or how much they care, the gap between students` needs and what they have to give just keeps growing.
We`ve also been on the other side of this conversation, where business leaders who genuinely care about Arizona education want to make a difference, but just don`t know how to get plugged in.
They want to invest their time and skills into local schools. They want to be part of the solution. But they don`t know what schools actually need, or whether their involvement would make any real difference.
You know what they both have in common?
They care deeply for kids and their futures.
Which begs the question...What if the gap between education and industry isn`t a resource problem — it`s a relationship problem?
This is why School Connect exists.
We`re here to help bridge the gap and spark new relationships between schools and their surrounding communities. In addition to CAFEs, the Classroom to Career Workshop on September 9th is a great place to connect with local leaders focused on building career pathways for students.

"Wow, they did this for us?" 👈 always such a priceless reaction from a child after volunteers beautify their school campus on Love Our Schools Day.
We love it!
There are three ways to get involved this fall 2026 season:
👉 School leaders: Apply for a campus project grant to give those beautification ideas a funding boost.
👉 Community leaders and partners: Fill out our interest form, and we`ll do our best to connect you with a volunteer day at a school in your area.
👉 Generous friends and neighbors: Schools are applying for project grants all summer. Help us fund these projects with a gift of just $200!
Will we see you there?
Whether you`re an educator with dreams for your students or an industry leader with expertise, resources, and opportunity to share, there is a role for you at the Classroom to Career Workshop.
The beauty of this workshop is that it`s not a lecture. It`s not a conference where you sit and listen and leave with a tote bag. It`s a room full of people who care about Arizona`s kids, talking to each other, making real plans, and building real relationships that make a difference.
We`d love to have you in the room on September 9th at Grand Canyon University!
