Community Support is critical for neighborhood schools to thrive. When a neighborhood school is partnered with local churches, restaurants, and retail stores, it provides resources that teachers are able to request and help enrich students school experiences. Also, this support trickles from the schools to the parents and families. As a teacher, I love working in a school where it just has a true community vibe!

    Monica Passey ~ Sunburst School

Our Faith Partners and Volunteers help us with projects we do not have the manpower for and encourage our teachers tremendously by letting them know our community cares about them and the future of our kids. Our schools would not be as strong without the support of our community members. They contribute enormously to our campuses!

Michelle Zahariades ~ Desert Foothills Junior High School

Local partners are very important to all schools for a couple of reasons. First, we need projects done and they love to help! Second, community relationships are so important. We love getting to know members of our community and telling them about our school.
