Love Our Schools Day
Become a Part of Love Our Schools Day 2026
Are you a local school with a project? Love Our Schools Day is a project-based volunteer day when the community can roll up their sleeves at a local school and make a difference where it is needed most whether it is planting a garden, painting a classroom, or fixing up a playground. Complete the interest form to get involved!
Classroom to Career Workshop
You’re invited to the Classroom to Career Workshop on September 9th!
Join education and industry leaders for an experience where partnerships form, ideas flow, businesses tap into future growth and students are connected from the classroom to cutting edge career pathways!
This is why School Connect engages in training and coaching educators for partnership engagement...
The challenges Cochise County is navigating, including attendance, teacher retention, family engagement, and doing more with less, are not unique to rural Arizona. They are the daily reality of schools everywhere.
These problems don’t exist in a vacuum, and they can’t be solved by one person, one budget line, or one department. They usually exist in ecosystems — with a school side, a family side, and a community side, all having a role. Solving them requires everyone working together with clarity and trust.
That`s where School Connect comes in:
➡️ Training and coaching are where that clarity begins
➡️ The CAFE is where the village gathers and builds trust
➡️ Love Our Schools Day becomes a catalytic moment in a much larger, ongoing story that changes the equation for kids, schools, and communities
Special shoutout to Dr. Jacqui Clay, Ed.D., for her incredible leadership and passion for bringing people together to make her community a place where every kid can thrive!

One of the best parts of the Champions of Education Awards is getting to share stories about students who are leading by example, making their schools and communities places where they and their peers can thrive.
After all, it takes a village, and that includes students, too!
That`s why it was an honor to celebrate Julius Bradley, student in the Queen Creek Unified School District, and winner of the 2026 Student Champion Award (K-6). Congratulations, Julius!

Looking through these photos from the 2026 Champions of Education Awards last month reminds us why we celebrate...
Whether you`re in a classroom or a boardroom, a congregation or a neighborhood, a business or a family, your part in this village matters.
Every child in Arizona is surrounded by a community that is either showing up or stepping back. There is no neutral ground. And the extraordinary people we honored on April 30th have simply decided with great heart and very little fanfare that they are going to show up no matter what. That choice is available to all of us, too.
Education is a love business. And love has momentum!
Continuing the 2026 Champions of Education Awards celebration!
This story video features @mitraformadison, Governing Board President in the Madison Elementary School District! Thank you for your leadership, Mitra! 👏
