GivingTuesday inspires generosity
GivingTuesday is a global movement that inspires generosity. More than 30 million people will come together for 24 hours of giving to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Every act of generosity counts this holiday season.
This spirit of giving is essential for School Connect. The generosity of our community helps us reach more schools and guide them in the necessary art of building community beyond their school family.
GivingTuesday fuels charitable support to strengthen schools and communities
Every day, schools facing unfathomable challenges seek support from School Connect. They need help solving problems, leveraging scarce resources and connecting with their community that extends beyond their campus.
Educators and administrators come to School Connect seeking skills and support that wasn’t offered in their teacher training programs. Whether they’re tackling childhood poverty, parent disengagement or the national teacher shortage, school leaders urgently need partners to ensure student success. We specialize in community connections – teaching schools community-based approaches to meet the ever-growing needs of their school family.
School Connect relies on donations to ensure schools have the proper training to identify, attract and retain long-lasting community partners. It’s no secret – schools cannot do it alone! With our help, schools are able to nurture sustainable partnerships to help students thrive in the classroom and in life.

In the work we do with educators and the community partners who rally around them, we get to witness the beautiful, often quiet work of everyday leaders who show up every single day to build Arizona`s future.
It`s work taken on by the kind of leaders who don`t ask for accolades or applause—they just enjoy knowing that what they do helps kids reach their dreams.
In these stories, we`re reminded that the best outcomes for kids happen when a village shows up...
💛 a teacher says, "I believe in you"
💛 a superintendent clears the path
💛 a principal rallies people together
💛 a student steps up to help their peers
💛 a community partner picks up the phone to say, "how can I help?"
Every role matters.
We know you`ve witnessed stories like this, too...
That`s why we want to hear from you!

The Washington Elementary School District CAFE was a packed house!
This CAFE celebrated partnership in pursuit of impact. As table discussions commenced, the energy in the room was palpable; leaders came ready to take action, listening intently for goals, planning support for testing, teacher appreciation, and even Love Our Schools Day next fall - a favorite of district principals.
In the words of Principal Pallagi,
“The impact is not just in what they build or give, but how they make students feel. Our students see adults who choose them, choose their school, invest in their future, and it tells the students that you matter.”

Last month, four districts gathered together for a CAFE gathering, where students held the leadership spotlight, reminding us of the powerful impact we have when we come together to empower kids to dream and accomplish those dreams.
One of the highlights was hearing Andrew Brown read his poem:
”You can’t level up in a room that’s comfortable in staying the same. If your friends laugh at your goals, you’ll shrink yours. If they push you higher, you’ll surprise yourself. You are only as steady as the people holding your ladder.”
Andrew concluded, “You guys are the ones holding our ladder.”
