When the astronauts returned to Earth, they didn`t talk about the stars. They talked about each other and the crew it took to make it happen. They described Earth as a lifeboat — and said the only way forward is to care for one another.
That`s exactly what we think about when we look at the village we`re building around our schools.
It`s not just the teacher. It`s the student, the principal, the superintendent, the school board member, the business leader, the faith leader, the nonprofit, the parent. Every single crew member matters. Take one out, and the whole thing is less than it could be.
On April 30th, we`re gathering to celebrate that crew, our village — every leader who has shown up without waiting for the spotlight. Join us at the Champions of Education Awards Breakfast!

Yesterday, School Connect partnered with volunteers from Valley of the Sun United Way , the City of Phoenix, AZ USA , The Be Kind People Project , Million Dollar Teacher Project , Arizona Educational Foundation , First Things First , and Read Better Be Better to assemble "Love Boxes" for 15,000 educators across Arizona.
For us, it`s about more than appreciation. It`s about showing teachers they are not alone in the important work they do for kids! (Link in bio)
The village surrounding a child is just as important as what happens in the classroom!
That`s why we`re so grateful for our Champions of Education Awards event sponsors: CHASSE Building Team, CORE, McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., GenTech Support, VSMG, Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC Asphalt, and 1GPA.
As sponsors, they`re saying: Education matters. The village matters. And I`m going to put my energy, my relationships, and my resources into building it — not alone, but together. They`ve chosen to stand up and say, I believe in this.
If you`d like to join them, today is the last day to sponsor the 2026 Champions of Education Awards! (Learn more at the link in our bio)
And even if sponsorship isn`t the right fit right now, we hope you`ll still join us!
