What's the impact of your Champions of Education Awards nomination?
How do you help kids dream about their future? Get them in spaces that inspire them to think bigger, connect them to mentors who encourage their curiosity, and give them opportunities to grow.

That's exactly what happened when educators, college campus leaders, and engineers from ACEC Arizona decided to get together to help kids see their potential through STEM Game Day field trips!

#PartnershipInAction
Boosting third-grade reading is a hot topic in Arizona education.

It's also a place where we're seeing partners rally around schools to make a difference!

For the second year in a row, the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Foundation is partnering with four school districts and 60+ schools to support the Valley Readers Program and get kids excited about reading. Schools track minutes, older students read to younger ones, families get involved, and classrooms rally around shared goals, motivating kids to keep going and growing.

Each of those minutes represents a child spending time inside a story, building stamina, confidence, and curiosity. And then, of course, there’s the fun, including assemblies with the Suns and Mercury staff, dancers, and mascots filling gyms with energy, players and coaches talking about the books that shaped them.

Those inspiring moments connect reading to real lives and real dreams in ways a worksheet never could, staying with kids for years and years to come!

Now that's #PartnershipInAction! (See "In the News" at the link in our bio)
